We have an excellent opportunity for a Staff Restaurant Assistant to join our Staff Restaurant team which serves 300 meals a day.
As a Staff Canteen Assistant the successful applicant will be involved in serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to a team of hotel professionals. The role will include duties such as basic food preparation, mis en place for service, cleaning of the restaurant and carvery food service.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated to provide excellent customer service to their colleagues. Minimal experience is required as on the job training will be provided, however, experience in food preparation and/or service would be a benefit.
The individual will have a good attitude and will be flexible to work shifts.
Entry Requirements:
Kitchen/College experience is not essential as training will be provided
Basic food hygiene
Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills
Enthusiastic in delivering service excellence
Has a good command of the English language, both spoken and written
Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
