Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce in the United Kingdom (LCCUK) under the Patronage of the Embassy of Lithuania invites Londoners and their guests to the most anticipated event of the year - LCCUK Christmas Charity Ball 2018. Everyone is welcome to join  Lithuanian Ambassador HE Renatas Norkus and other guests for the sparkling reception, festive feast and a whole evening of entertainment, including live charity auction and contribute to the important cause. This year all proceeds from the festive Charity Ball will be donated to the charity funds ‘Save The Children Lithuania' and ‘Man Fund’.

This memorable evening will be held on 23rd of November at one of London’s grandest and most glamorous settings, The Savoy Hotel Lancaster Ballroom, an eminent venue overlooking the River Thames. Refined design, dramatic architectural details and sparkling chandeliers will set the tone for this magnificent event.

The evening will commence with a champagne reception, followed by a three-course dinner with coffee and petit fours. The programme, hosted by Mr Andrius Tapinas,  journalist, founder of TV Channel 'Laisvės TV' (Liberty TV) will include speeches by our esteemed Guests of Honour, performances by Lithuania’s most popular and successfully enduring and evolving singers Erica Jennings and Jurgis Didžiulis , and very famous wooden bells player Regimantas Šilinskas as well as  live charity auction.

LCCUK’s ex-president Mr Egonas Jakimavicius commented: “We are proud that our Annual Charity Ball has become a cherished tradition. We are also proud that at last year’s Charity Ball we raised over forty-three thousand euros for Charity Fund of Vilnius University Children’s Hospital. I believe we can do even better this year and help The Charity Funds ‘Save The Children Lithuania’ and ‘Men Fund’. This is also a wonderful opportunity to acquire incredible experiences, prizes and important works of art at our charity auction, to enjoy performances by famous Lithuanian musicians and have a good time at one of London’s most celebrated, iconic and exclusive venues – The Savoy Hotel.”

‘Save The Children Lithuania’ is the leading independent organization creating lasting change in the lives of children in need, both in Lithuania and around the world. Recognised for its commitment to accountability, innovation and collaboration, the activities of the organisation reach the heart of urban and rural communities, where children and families are helped to help themselves. ‘Save The Children Lithuania’ is working with other organizations, governments, non-profits and a variety of local partners while maintaining its own independence without following any political agenda or religious orientation. In 2017, around 25 000 children’s lives were touched by 'Save The Children Lithuania'. The organisation’s vision is a world in which every child enjoys the right to survival, protection, development and participation. 'Save The Children Lithuania’s' mission is to inspire breakthroughs in the way the world treats children and to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives.

Establishing and naming charity fund ‘The Men Fund‘ (‘Vyrų fondas‘) was an initiative of men, which disagree with the stereotype that charity is an exclusive activity of women. We would like to encourage men in Lithuania and globally to participate in the charity activities, especially in the areas where figure of man or father is critical. Currently ‘The Men Fund‘ is concentrated on helping families, whose children are affected by diabetes.
